Next Steps for ErateSync
We plan to continue our mission of supporting staff, students and library patrons with connections to ECF (Emergency Connectivity Funds) and other funding opportunities, as well as solutions to manage those funding opportunities.
The global COVID pandemic really hit the education sector hard. With economists forecasting an economic downturn and possible recession, giving schools and libraries — or any entity that supports students and their staff — the tools to properly manage their data and unlock access to different types of funding is our continued mission:
“With the availability of funding through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) program to support students and staff working remotely during Covid-19 closures, we found that entities are challenged with the management of records such as the information required to support unmet needs as well as the tracking of where devices & services are being delivered,” says EdTechnologyFunds CEO Beverly Sutherland.
She continues on that “Entity leaders were looking for ways to build confidence in their compliance while keeping students engaged in learning. ErateSync simplifies the retention of entity ECF and E-rate records and allows staff to focus on what they do best – preparing our students and communities for a more digital world.
