Madera Unified is a prominent California school district, serving over 20,000 students across 30 schools. The district relies on E-Rate funding to support critical technology needs and works with a consultant to be prepared for audits. With defined processes in coordination with the IT management, district admin staff, and the E-Rate consultant - the district is able to centralize by Funding Year and Form 471 critical information such as vendor selection process, invoices, purchase orders, and asset registry lists. Since PQA audits are highly random, without a streamlined process, they can become overwhelming and time- consuming for administrators system dependent on physical binders that "cluttered shelves" and slowed them down at every turn.
